We try to keep Jesus, his gospel, and his kingdom central to our lives.
We’ve got all sorts of people in our community — people that have come from a variety of religious backgrounds and people who have only recently been introduced to Jesus and his way. For this reason, you will find that we give a lot of latitude to many of the non-essential beliefs under the Christian umbrella.
What binds us all together is a love and a passion to follow Jesus together for the sake of the world.
We do not have a doctrinal statement (we do have Core Convictions). We confess these central beliefs found in the Apostles Creed that unite all Christians throughout the world.
THE APOSTLES CREED
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the dead; the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic (universal) church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
