At the Neighborhood Church, our hope is that every child loves God with everything and loves their neighbor as themselves. We want to partner with parents to encourage our children to be with Jesus to learn from Jesus how to live like Jesus. Every week during our worship gathering we provide intentional time to love and guide them to that end.

What to expect

We have background-checked, loving, and gifted children’s ministry volunteers to provide your child with a safe, engaging, and Jesus-centered time of learning and play.

Our pre-schoolers (babies through pre-K) check-in before our worship gathering in the ARK (the gym adjacent to the main sanctuary).

Our school-aged children (K through 5th grade) begin by worshiping with everyone in the main sanctuary at 5:00 p.m.

We typically do most of our singing together at the beginning of our worship gathering. That way, our older children are able to participate in this time as we worship God together. Just before the teaching time, children are released to the ARK with our children’s ministry volunteers. They spend the remainder of the evening learning about Jesus in a fun and age-appropriate setting.

If you feel more comfortable having your children remain with you in our worship gathering, please feel free to keep them with you!  We understand.  Our greeters can provide you with coloring pages to help you keep little ones busy!
