We continually ask ourselves, “What is God doing in our neighborhood?” and “How is He calling us to join him?” We can’t do it all, but he has given us many opportunities to bless others locally. Below is an evolving list of those to which we regularly give of our time, effort, prayer, and resources as we partner together for God’s kingdom in our neighborhood. For more information about serving alongside us, email info{at}tncgarland.com.

Founded in 1983, Austin Street Center, provides safe shelter and meets the basic needs of the most vulnerable homeless. Each person who finds shelter there is provided a safe place to sleep, showers, clothing, and meals. Once their basic needs are met, they can begin working on other aspects of their lives that will help them transition out of homelessness. Find out more at austinstreet.org.

Once a month a group from TNC provides and serves a meal to those staying at this homeless shelter in downtown Dallas.

  • ourcalling (Dallas)

OurCalling is a team of volunteers motivated by the love of Christ to search in every corner of the city for the lost and needy and offer them true friendship and meaningful support. They build long-term relationships with friends on the street, guiding them to a relationship with Jesus Christ that will help them to realize their worth and inspire them to invest in their lives.

Each week members of The Neighborhood Church help lead a bible study and provide food for men on Sunday evenings and women on Monday mornings. To learn more visit ourcalling.org. To come with us, email info@tncgarland.com.
