God is on a mission to rescue people, renew creation, and re-establish his good and beautiful reign in the midst of darkness, evil, hate, and pain. We want to be a church that joins God's rescue mission right here and around the world.

We love The Message translation of John’s Gospel when he speaks of Jesus, the ultimate Word of God, becoming human:

“The Word became flesh and blood

and moved into the neighborhood.”

(John 1:14)

We want to follow Jesus’ lead as we live into our name — to be a church in the neighborhood, for the neighborhood, and to reflect the neighborhood in all of its diversity.

LOCAL MINISTRIES & PARTNERS

FOR THE NATIONS REFUGEE OUTREACH (GARLAND)

For the Nations: Refugee Outreach is a 501(c)(3) non-profit seeking to serve refugees in the Dallas area. They offer a wide variety of educational programs to help refugees continue in the long process of adapting to life in the United States. FTNRO also helps families adjust to life in America by advocating for them. Most importantly, they share with refugees the good news of Jesus Christ.

YOUNGLIVES (SOUTH CENTRAL DIVISION)

YoungLives exists to help adolescent parents grow in faith, grow in life, and grow in leadership. We partner with YoungLIves by supporting local clubs as needed, providing resources, and sending a team to provide childcare for their annual summer camp.

HEATHER GLEN MONTCLAIR ELEMENTARY (GARLAND)
We partner with this local elementary school by supporting the staff and teachers, organizing campus clean-ups, volunteering as need, and providing hygiene items and uniforms to help students.

THE COOPERATIVE BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP

We are grateful to partner with The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. CBF invites churches and individuals to partner in transforming God’s world, working together as a global community to spread good news, justice and hope through impactful ministries, missions and resources.

MINISTERIO PESCADOR (CIUDAD JUAREZ, MEXICO & EL PASO, TEXAS)

We are grateful to partner with Cesar and Raquel Quinones — our honorary church members out West! For years they have served those on the margins of society — the homeless, the jailed, the addicted, and the hungry. In addition to their work across the border, their ministry provides groceries for under-resourced families in El Paso. TNC was blessed to send a team to El Paso in 2015 to build the Ken Kaniatobe Memorial Food Pantry to house the donations that would bless families on both sides of the border.

pioneers (global)

We have a longstanding relationship with a family that has served in the Middle East. They currently serve stateside as a coach and strategist training field personnel and supporting their work all over the world.
